BAUDUGI Festival

Anseong was the birthplace and headquarters of the Namsadang in the Joseon Dynasty and was the center of Korean popular culture. The Namsadang Baudoku Festival is the perfect place to start and grow in 2001 to succeed and develop the artistic spirit of Bauduk Lee in the Namsadang traditional culture.

Since 2006, the Baudukui Festival has been designated as the official festival of CIOFF® by the UNESCO's Advisory and Cooperation Organization. It has become one of the most Korean and international festivals in Korea.
